Description
Learn how to make some lovely fused glass hanging Christmas decorations. You will have a brief introduction about fused glass. You will learn the skills and practice how to cut simple glass shapes and discover different techniques to decorate your pieces. This workshop is perfect for complete beginners or people who have some prior experience of glass. A maximum of 6 in a workshop. Your final decorations will be fired over night and you may either collect or have them posted.
What's included in the price?
All tools and materials are included to make at least 6 decorations. The workshop takes place in a light and airy studio/room in the Old Bank Gallery. Tea/coffee/refreshments are available to purchase in the Old Bank café downstairs.

Maker
Sandy Horton is a glass artist who works from her studio in Cornwall. Sandy studied for a post graduate diploma in Glass at Central St Martins College of Art & Design where she was awarded the William De Morgan Prize for Glass. She has many years of teaching experience and enjoys the interaction with students and sharing her knowledge of fused glass.
