About the Course
Attend the glass studio in the county town of Hertford, Hertfordshire.
Explore fusing glass by using the smaller off-cuts of coloured glass. Use the ‘Bits & Bobs’ to make your glass creations. Offering a selection of transparent, opaque, streaky and irredescent glass as well as Frits, stringers and inclusions. This is an open workshop, allowing you to make your chosen pieces in whatever form you would like. You will be given a base piece of glass 40 x 12cm. You can keep it as a whole panel or chop it up into whatever shape you would like to make multiple pieces such as light catchers, pendants, ring tops, wish sticks, tiles or coasters.
This is a good introduction to fused glass - please get in touch for further details.

Absolutely loved this class. Perfect whether you are new to glass work or you know what you're doing and want to have a good play. I've done it a few times now because I enjoyed it so much. The studio is lovely, the cups of tea are endless, and the fun levels are high. Niko will help you with ideas if you want her to as well which is always great. She is a natural teacher and the atmosphere is lovely. It's also nice to do a class in a gallery where there are lots of inspiring works of art on the wall. I've very quickly become addicted to glass work after doing this course!
