Stuck for a unique gift idea? Know someone who has always wanted to have a go on a potter's wheel?
Sessions will take place in small groups in Margaret’s workshop in North Leeds.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside Margaret Glackin – an experienced ceramic thrower and designer-maker. Learn how to make your own breakfast bowl and mug (for example). On the day you’ll learn the principles of clay preparation, the techniques involved in throwing and the skill of applying coloured slip. The cost includes glazing and kiln firing by Margaret after the workshop. Your best pieces will be available for collection either from her Roundhay studio, Fabrication in Leeds or York City Centre, or by post (additional cost).
No previous experience is necessary.
If you will be redeeming a CraftCourses gift voucher on this course, the voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
