Hello, my name is Keri and welcome to The Soap Coach.
Would you like to learn a great, practical new skill? Learn to make traditional cold process and gain the knowledge and confidence to continue your soap making journey at home. Plus take home over 2kg of soap you have made yourself.
Your course will be held with me, award winning soap maker and teacher.
You will learn the science behind the soap and how to use it. Information about the different butters and oils you will be using and how they affect your finished soap. How to use lye safely and what equipment you need.
An insight into using essential oils in your soaps and advice about how to create your own blends.
An introduction to using natural ingredients such as clays to colour your soap.
In the morning you will watch a demo of how to make hot process soap and then go on to make your own batch of coconut oil soap. I will be on hand throughout out to offer advice and guidance.
In the afternoon I will be talking and demonstrating how to make cold process soap and then you will make your own batch using this method. This time you will use coconut oil, olive oil and cocoa butter.
Overall and fun, educational and creative day.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
You will be welcomed with a tea, coffee and of course cake!
I am not able to provide lunch but you are very welcome to bring a packed lunch and remain in the workshop or there is a Waitrose just around the corner. Unlimited hot and cold drinks are available all day.
Every participant will receive a comprehensive workbook covering everything you need to make both cold and hot process soap plus useful resources.
You will take home well over 2kg of soap you have made. The cost to buy this volume of ready made soap would be £90 making this a great value workshop.
You will also be able to purchase sufficient ingredients on the day to make another batch of soap at home if you have caught the soap making bug.
And finally you will be invited to join my dedicated facebook group where I will always be on hand to answer any questions and give advice. You will also be encouraged to share your soap making success stories when you are back home. I am a firm believer in helping you to succeed and this is why you have my continued support on line to ensure you have the confidence and ability to continue your soap making at home.
