About the Course
Create free motion drawings and pictures with Paper and Textile artist Lucy Dorothy Nichols at machine embroidery workshops at a variety of venues across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
Suitable for those with a very basic knowledge of machine sewing, this is a wonderful opportunity to find out just how easy it is to use your machine for drawing and doodling!
Workshops are run as both half day and full day sessions and/or by private appointment for small groups . In all workshops you will be shown how to setup your machine for free motion sewing as well as various techniques including thread sketching and raw edge appliqué. All fabrics and templates will be provided to enable you to create several small designs.

What's included in the price?
Attendees need to bring along their own sewing machine, which must be in good working order and have the ability to free motion. A basic sewing kit including black thread is also required, all other materials will be provided.
