Foxes' Retreat offers an escape from your usual routine. The change of focus will allow you to tap into your creativity, whilst we provide experiences and activities to enhance your creative writing skills, giving you a space to begin or develop your own project.
This is a stand alone afternoon workshop course to develop self awareness, and to use writing to process the world around us.
There is no expectation to share writing on this workshop, although discussion of the process is likely.
This is suitable for those who are on a writing journey already, or those looking to find new ways to manage our new situation.
Small group (6 places available per group) with lots of supportive discussion and ideas to develop your writing.
You will need to bring a notebook and a pen/pencil.
Please contact us for a relaxed chat about this and to reserve a place, particularly if you are new to writing, or a little nervous at getting going - we are here to encourage, not to judge!
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
Small group live teaching of exercises to develop characters and plot for your own short story.
I have a range of writers, from professional poets and storytellers, to first time writers, and I am used to working with exercises that will stretch the thinking patterns of us all.
A notebook, a stable internet connection and a quiet space to work in without distraction for the two hours per week of your course, as well as at other times to develop your writing, in line with your own project ambitions.
