Course Start DatesMonday 3rd August 2020
About the Course
Especially designed for people working in schools who can’t usually make a Masterclass, experienced glass artist Liz Sparkes will be offering 4 days of advanced techniques.
There will be some flexibility to allow students to direct their learning, however we will be covering the following
Using powders and frits to create sea and landscapes
Free form slumping (drop outs and slumping without moulds)
Cold working techniques – sandblasting and Verre Eglomise
Working with enamels
By the end of the course participants will have a greater understanding of heat work, how glass behaves in a kiln, and more confidence in experimenting to create their own unique works of art.
Experience level – some experience of fused glass required
Start time 10am.
