These full day workshops last from 10.30-3.15pm, with 45 mins for lunch, and are ideal for those who have have a basic understanding of glass fusing and have previously been taught how to cut glass. A full-day beginners workshop will normally be sufficient experience. The day starts with a short skills session which introduces students to a new technique or builds on existing knowledge/skills. Your tutor will provide many different forms of support including technical and artistic guidance, ideas - whatever you need during your day.
For more specialised follow-on courses, including slumping and reactions workshops, please get in touch with Yvonne at CKJ Artisan using the contact information at the top of the page.
The workshops are supportive environments for newcomers and existing participants. All welcome from 16+, provided you are able to work relatively independently and have reasonable dexterity. If you wish to bring along a child below 16, please contact Yvonne at CKJ Artisan in advance.
