About the Course

Make your own floor or table lamp using your fabric of choice. Add your electrics (lamp holder, plug and switched cable) and you have a fabulous lighting product.
This relaxed and supportive workshop takes you through the process of making a fabric covered tube shaped floor standing lamp. The floor standing (100cms height) or a table (30cms height cost £60) lamp has a diameter of 20 cms. You will be surprised how simple this process is, inspiring you to continue your lampshade making at home.
Cannot make it to me? For a minimum of 2 people I am happy to travel to you for a workshop in your own home within a 10 mile radius (mileage in excess of this would incur travel expenses).

The courses are relaxed so you can work at your own pace with plenty of friendly support and guidance.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

All floor and table lamp making materials, factory sealed and tested electrical fittings and fabrics, endless tea, coffee and hot chocolate and biscuits.
