About the Course

Elaine Deeks is a local Interior designer with 20 years experience in designing and installing Interiors for developers' private clients. She is running a series of 2.5 hour interactive interior design workshops for beginners to learn about the fundamentals of Interior design. Think of a room you've always dreamed of ....

Mood Boards
Creating a Mood Board - Building a design concept for a room, where to find inspiration and how to collect thoughts, moods and ideas. All materials needed will be included.

In these workshops, you can expect a fun and informal class where you’ll be taught things like:

The basic rules of colour
lighting
fabrics
Styling
how to create an inspiring mood board
spatial furniture planning

Elaine says that one of the first things that clients usually say to her is ” I just don’t know which colours will work together.”

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

All materials needed will be included, with a little something to take home.

Fisherton Mill is the largest independent Gallery complex in the south and has an onsite, award winning, Cafe on the ground floor. The Gallery Café's varied menu changes to suit the seasons and the recipes often use fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Pop in for a coffee, a cup of tea and a piece of cake, or something more substantial either before or after your workshop.

There is always something delicious to choose from - for lunch, try a generously filled sandwich or something warm, such as some hearty soup in winter, or a healthy salad in the summer, all washed down with a glass of wine, some elderflower or home-made minty limeade.
