About the Course
Alison Nash has a studio on the First Floor at Fisherton Mill and runs a range of different workshops in bead embroidery, felting and mosaics.
Bead Mosaic Photo Frames - In this workshop, you will learn how to make an outer edge using traditional mosaic tiles and grouting, and how to work within this outline, adding beads, pearls, shells, etc. There will be boxes of goodies to rummage through and choose from to make that special piece! Once learnt, the technique can be used to decorate other items - so many possibilities!
Suitable for beginners. Class size is limited to 8 students.
Fisherton Mill is the largest independent Gallery complex in the south and has an onsite, award winning, Cafe on the ground floor. The Gallery Café's varied menu changes to suit the seasons and the recipes often use fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Pop in for a coffee, a cup of tea and a piece of cake, or something more substantial either before or after your workshop.
There is always something delicious to choose from - for lunch, try a generously filled sandwich or something warm, such as some hearty soup in winter, or a healthy salad in the summer, all washed down with a glass of wine, some elderflower or home-made minty limeade.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
