About the Course
Learn to draw your own stag in charcoal with the option to print your illustration onto cards, in time for Christmas.
Draw along with experienced tutor and charcoal artist, Bex Gouverneur, who will guide you through a step-by-step process, to produce your own drawing of a Christmas stag. Following the course, you will have the option to have your illustration made into your own, custom, Christmas card design.
The course tuition will include:
· Drafting techniques
· Creating strong, crisp highlights
· Achieving a full range of tones in charcoal
· Rendering of fur
What to bring:
A full materials list will be sent out in advance of the course. Alternatively, a full materials pack can be purchased directly from the tutor on the day for an additional £25.
Christmas Card Printing and Postage:
Impress your family and friends with your artistic skill, by producing your own Christmas cards. As an optional addition to the tuition, on completion of the day’s drawing, Bex can take your completed illustration, scan and format it ready for printing, with the option to add text and festive additions into the design. Cards will be printed, packaged and posted back to you. There will be an additional charge for this, as follows:
For 10 cards: £48
For 25 cards: £63
For 50 cards: £79
This order can be placed at the end of the workshop and the fee will be payable directly to the tutor on the day.

What's included in the price?
Tea, Coffee, biscuits and cold refreshments will be available throughout the day. Lunch is not provided although The Phoenix Kitchen, just next door, provides an array of meals, light lunches and snacks. Alternatively, there is a fridge and microwave in the studio kitchen for you to use if you would prefer to bring your own lunch.
