About the Course
Wet felt-making is the oldest form of textile & is a magical craft. Wool and silk fibres when damp and rubbed together will bond irreversibly forming an exciting and organic fabric. Catherine will show you how to felt a flower shape from scratch and assemble it by yourself - from laying down wool and silk fibres right through to embellishing with felted balls and beads. She demonstrates and you follow! Choose from over 50 beautiful shades, each item is completely unique in every way. The finished item can be used as a brooch, hair pin, fascinator or hat decoration.
The workshop is suitable for all abilities upwards age 12. . Payment in full in advance to book your space. The class is held at the event 'Pop Up in The Palm House' various slots available on 14th and 15th April please contact for details.
