Felting in the Field- Needle felt an animal

X

Description

Come and take out your stress by stabbing wool into the shape you like. The needle felting process is simple but repetitive and fun to do while chatting and enjoying tea and cake.

You can choose any animal to make- I am obsessed with sheep but you could do something different! We will set up camp under a tree (and marquee depending on the weather) in the field and enjoy the views of the hills while we felt.

You will begin by processing local wool by hand using carding techniques with a specialised drum carder and hand carders.

Then you will use the felting needles to stab to perfection. You can add detail, colour and I can give design inspiration if you would like. We can also turn your creation into a hanging decoration by sewing a loop of thread at the top if you would like!

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
