Course Start DatesSaturday 15th February 2020
About the Course
Vessels & Silks. A chance to try a wide variety of different breeds of wool adding silks for decoration & texture. During this workshop you will learn how to make a vessel using natural undyed wool and how to decorate the surface using silk fibres.
You can make one large decorative vessel or choose to make 2 or 3 smaller vessels in different wools (depending on experience). Different breeds felt in different ways, if you have only used Merino then this will be an eye opener. Shorter staples of wool have a totally different feel, you will love the new possibilities that open up to you. I will have a variety of template shapes and sizes for you to use to create a bowl, vase etc and a variety of wools to try.
