Using merino and Wensleydale fleece, using the wet felting method, make a wonderful and colourful ruffled scarf! Students will learn how to make wave edges combined with a shibori. This technique can also be adapted to create handwarmers, collars and lampshades.

All abilities welcome!

Mandy Nash: Over the last fifteen years I have been developing work in felt, combining this with my jewellery practice, creating both functional and non functional work. My three passions are colour, pattern and technique and much of my inspiration comes from my travels around the world. I am regional co-ordinator and vice chair of the International Feltmakers Association, a member of the Makers Guild in Wales, the Association of Contemporary Jewellery, MaP, a textile group and Seven:14, a mixed media group. I have exhibited widely in the UK, Europe, Japan, USA and Canada.
