About the Course

Work alongside your family on this family holiday with a difference. Come and learn together, and build your own wooden boat to take home with you. Over a week on Mull, families of up to 5 people, ages 8+ can build their choice of boat in our workshop with supervision from two of our boatbuilding tutors.

Due to the flexibility of this week, we can accommodate a lot of variations in your family size and the boats we are building. Options include an open canoe, or the Echo Bay or Caravelle rowing boats - either of which can potentially be rigged for sailing if that is of interest.

Do to the nature of the croft, we do not offer accommodation with this week, but we can help with sourcing other accommodation locally to suit your budget.

Fees: £1350 for family + materials (variable depending on boat chosen)

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

The fee includes lunches for the duration of the course. We also charge a fee for the boat materials so you can leave with a boat of your own to play with.
