About the Course
With expert tuition from Helena you will learn how to hand-knit a gorgeous Fairisle cushion cover using Cambrian Wool.
Begin knitting a Fairisle cushion cover which you will be able to complete at home. This course offers knitters an opportunity to learn about the technique of Fairisle knitting, and develop an understanding of how colours work together. This will be done by starting to knit the cushion cover shown in the photographs. It is knitted in sections, and would include learning how to pick up stitches from cast off and side edges, as well as the stranding technique used in Fairisle. The ability to knit and purl, and follow a pattern are all the skills required.
