About the Course
In this one-day introduction to expressive watercolour painting Shelley Morrow will start the day by guiding you through a series of playful exercises that explore the limitations and possibilities watercolour. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to use the techniques you have learnt to make colourful, atmospheric observational drawings from a life model. The workshop is suitable for all levels of availability, from complete beginners to more experienced artists looking for a refresher.
This session is taught by artist and teacher Shelley Morrow - all materials are included and no past watercolour experience is required although some basic drawing experience is recommended. Booking is required for this class - you can either book via the link below or in person at the Draw studio. If you book via the website please bring your printed or digital receipt as proof of payment and if you book using the student rate please bring your student ID.
The session starts at 10:30am and you are welcome to arrive from 10:15am - the main doors of New England House will be locked so you'll just need to call the phone number on the door to be let in.

All materials are provided, so you can come to the session unequipped. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available throughout the session and there will be a lunch break half way through the day – you are welcome to bring a packed lunch or go out for lunch at a nearby café
