About the Course
During this workshop you will explore a range of mark making and decorative techniques to create your own mini metal plates. You will be using a selection of tools and metalwork processes, including soldering and the use of the rolling mill, which can then be used to create your own pair of earrings or pendant.
This workshop is being taught by Michelle Jessop who has 10 years experience of teaching up to degree level at colleges in Essex.
This class is an intermediate level session, so perfect if you have some previous experience of using the tools in the studio as Michelle will be focusing on developing those skills further.
The class is £80 which includes copper and brass to experiment with and some silver to make your final design- either a pendant or pair of earrings.
This class will run from 10am-4pm with a half hour break for lunch; you are welcome to bring a packed lunch with you to the studio.
This class is taught at our Basingstoke Studio; we are 5 minutes from the town centre and junction 6 of the M3. There is ample free parking at the studio.
