About the Course
The perfect art course for bee lovers!
This one day painting workshop is a truly unique and absorbing workshop, aimed at both lovers of painting and entomology, especially bees. You don’t have to be an expert in either, but you need to be fascinated by both! This absorbing and enjoyable day will give participants the chance to study British Bees in a way that they have never been able to before. Each student will have the use of high powered microscopes to study the anatomical beauty of bees. Using Cath’s vast range of bee specimens, Cath and students will discuss how bees pollinate, how they fly, how they produce food for their young and generally, pay homage to these fascinating and iconic insects. Participants will then use either a microscope or macro photographic material to produce a detailed and unique piece of art.
