About the Course

In this one-day class you will learn the art of painting with molten wax to create vivid, flowing, textured pictures in a surprisingly short amount of time. You can use a variety of tools to melt wax and on this course we will be working with an iron and a heated stylus. You will learn various techniques to create both abstract and landscape work and by the end of the class you will have created at least twenty small paintings.

This class is suitable for both a beginner to art, as well as someone who wants to add another medium to their palette. Card makers may also like to try this art form as it is a perfect complement to dye cutting machines, or for painting backgrounds. Materials included.
