About the Course
This workshop focusses on embroidering on various metals and can be completed with both hand and machine embroidery - or even a combination of the two. Initially you'll create some samples exploring embroidery on the metal, layering sheer fabrics and embossing on the metal. We then progress on to creating either a small piece of art work or a candle holder.
The workshop is suitable for all levels of experience, with a maximum number of 6 people attending to ensure you gain the most out of the evening.
The workshop is from 6-9pm at the Earthbeat Centre, Saltburn.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
All materials are included, but please bring a basic sewing kit including embroidery scissors and needles if you have one.
If you wish to machine embroider you will need to bring your own sewing machine, with bobbins and darning or embroidery foot. Most machines can be used for free machine embroidery; you will need to be able to lower the feed dogs or cover them with a plate. Please contact me if you have any questions.
