Eleanor is a beautifully elegant shirt featuring a shawl collar, relaxed shoulders and a pleat back. Come along to our workshop and we will show you a few industrial techniques to get the perfect finish to your shirt. You will learn how to sew a collar dart, how to neatly finish an inner yoke using the 'burrito' method and how to measure and sew buttonholes.
You will need to bring 2 - 2.75m of a wide width fabric, depending on your size. (Call/ email for more information or ask us in the notes when booking). Suitable for linen, chambray, cotton lawn, printed cotton or viscose rayon.
This workshop runs over 1 1/2 days.
Day one - 10am - 5pm
Day two - 10am - 1pm
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
The pattern, notions and thread will be provided but you will need to bring along some lunch on the first day.
There will be plenty of tea, coffee and cake to keep you sewing through the day.
