About the Course

"Travel through time and learn practical needlecraft skills along the way"

Each month our inspiring artist/designer tutors impart a different needle craft skill and its fascinating history. Appropriately, the full day (10am - 4pm) workshops take place underneath the medieval beamed eaves of Duttons for Buttons' Grade 2* Listed building in York.

Come away with a memorable craft work, historic knowledge and a life-long skill.

What's included in the price?

Materials, equipment and refreshments are included. Although lunch is not, our central location is a stone's-throw away from a huge selection of cafés and restaurants to suit every budget, plus plenty of green spaces if you bring your own.

Access note: Our building was built in 1422 and our workshops are held on the 2nd floor with no lift access. We do apologise if this prevents anyone attending our workshops.
