About the Course

"Travel through time and learn practical needlecraft skills along the way"

Our inspiring artist/designer tutor will impart to you a needle craft skill and its fascinating history. Appropriately, the full day (10am - 4pm) workshops take place underneath the medieval beamed eaves of Duttons for Buttons' Grade 2* listed building in York.

Come away with a memorable craft work, historic knowledge and a life-long skill.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

Materials, equipment and refreshments are included. Although lunch is not, our central location is a stone's-throw away from a huge selection of cafés and restaurants to suit every budget, plus plenty of green spaces if you bring your own.

Access note: Our building was built in 1422 and our workshops are held on the 2nd floor with no lift access. We do apologise if this prevents anyone attending our workshops.
