About the Course

Learn drypoint printing with Jackie and create a beautiful and unique work of art.

Jackie’s set of 3 classes is an introduction to several non-chemical printmaking techniques. They can be taken as a short course or as separate classes (lino cutting and collagraph). Once these skills have been learnt they open up endless possibilities to create beautiful prints individually or by combining two or more of the different print processes on one piece. You don’t need to have excellent drawing skills for any of these methods as all can be combined with image transfers or tracings.
Drypoint is a lovely intaglio print method closely related to etching. We will be working with an etching needle on a Perspex plate and using high quality inks to print.

Teas provided. Other drinks and delicious lunches and cakes are available to purchase from the cafe should you wish. Please bring an apron, basic pencil case tools, all other materials will be provided. Maximum 6 people per class.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
