In this half day workshop you will learn how to make a professionally-finished 20cm drum lampshade from your own fabric. All other materials included, just bring 0.5m of fabric to make into a beautiful lampshade for a lamp base.
Julie from Gilhoolie Bespoke Lampshades will demonstrate, step by step, how to create your lampshade so no previous experience is necessary.
Future workshops will include making a double-sided lampshade.
Please bring:
A packed lunch
A piece of fabric measuring 0.7m wide by 0.5m tall. This needs to be not too thick so that it can tuck around the rings and also let light through. Dress making cottons are reasonably priced and perfect for a beginner’s lampshade.
Refunds are not available on this booking. Start dates may be amended on request.
