These classes are a great way to start your sewing adventure – full of practical techniques and tips you will use again and again. You’ll come away with, not just a skirt, but confidence and skills for your next project!

Taking you step-by-step through measuring, cutting, fitting and making up of a basic ‘A’-line skirt. Guidance on appropriate pattern and fabrics will be given prior to the course.

We'lll cover the following, backed up with handouts and demonstrations as we go along:

• Preparing your pattern for a better fit
• Laying out, cutting and preparing the pattern pieces
• …through to sewing up, fitting the zip and hand finishing

What's included in the price?

Please bring:
- notebook and pen
- tape measure & ruler
- pins
- pattern and fabric (guidance given on this)
- your sewing machine
- specs if you need them!

You can purchase lunch, beverages and great cake from the fabulous organic cafe on site .
