Description
So you’ve made a couple of easier projects and you’re ready to take your sewing to the next level - Beyond Beginners will help you to do just that! This course takes place once a week for 6 weeks and will cover some more technical aspects of dressmaking. Over the 6 weeks you will make a very stylish pair trousers and a waistcoat. Some of the techniques you will learn along the way include: -using a dressmaking pattern -adjusting your pattern for a better fit -how to cut your fabric -creating seams and hems -adding lining fabric -inserting a zip -adding buttons and button holes -making welted pockets -and much more! You will need to be able to use a sewing machine and have a couple of projects under your belt already. if you need to learn to sew then you could sign up for the Introduction to Sewing class first, and then the Beginners Dressmaking Course. More details will follow once you have booked your place.
What's included in the price?
Sewing patterns, use of all equipment and as much tea and coffee as you can drink are all included. You will just need to provide your own fabric.
