Drawing shells, seahorses and starfish using mixed media (one day workshop in Worcestershire)

Description

This is a one day workshop where you will explore the features of seashells, starfish and seahorses using mixed media.

Bev and Nicola are experienced artists and tutors who will share their expertise and passion, inspiring you to freely create using a variety of medium and techniques. Throughout the day you will be guided every step of the way to create your own individual studies of shells. Bev and Nicola will show you many examples of work to inspire and influence you, and you will have the freedom to experiment with different styles, materials and techniques.

You will use pencils, water based pencil crayons, a variety of paints, and paper surfaces. Pastels and inks will be used and combined to create stunning effects.

At the end of the day you will take away a series of drawings which you can choose to frame up and display at a later date.

Please note that if the minimum number of attendees is not reached, the course will not go ahead. We will provide 2 weeks notice and a full refund if this is the case.

Refunds are not available on this booking. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

All materials and equipment will be provided.
Drinks will be available, and there is a cafe on site which serves drinks and cakes (not lunch food). Bring your own lunch or pop out to buy from local cafes.
