About the Course
Join Deb Karash on her first visit to the UK to teach her drawing on metal technique. The course runs from Wednesday 17th – Sunday 21st April 2019. Places are limited so early booking is recommended. The class is suitable for all levels. Complete beginners to making metal jewellery are welcome.
Who doesn’t want to add a little color to their jewelry, or maybe your own patterns and images? This class focuses on Deb’s technique for drawing on metal using colored pencils. Learn to add color and excitement to your work with Deb Karash’s special technique.
Level: Suitable for complete beginners. No previous experience required.
Times: 10am – 5pm
In this five day course you should finish at least one pendant and several sample pieces. Fabrication techniques will be covered as time allows.
The course cost does not include materials or tools. Students will need to bring the following materials with them:-
Copper sheet – 0.7mm thick, 8cm x 15cm
Brass sheet – 0.7mm thick, 8cm x 15cm
Sterling silver sheet (optional) – 0.7mm thick, 8cm x 15cm
Prismacolor Premier Pencils – they must be Premier, no other type of pencil will work for this technique.
