Draped Turbans and Trimmings
Description
This course is for students with some millinery experience who are interested in creating draped turbans and trimmings. The course offers the opportunity to learn the techniques for draping fabrics in millinery, the best kinds of materials for draped millinery and the structural support used to keep the lines soft and fluid.

Typical activities: studio-based teaching with students working at individual workstations, following tutor demonstrations and practical activities.
Assessment methods: Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the learning outcomes above. At the start of the course, you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals i.e.: progression to an advanced- level course.
In order to ensure you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular constructive and supportive feedback from your tutor, who will divide teaching time between practical demonstrations of technique and one-to-one advice as students work through a given task.
