Dowsing in a Day

Dowsing, the response to unconscious or subliminal energies in our environment, covers a whole range of activities such as healing, including crystal healing, Feng Shui, Chakras, auras, earth energies and, anything that involves tuning into the subliminal energies around us.

Dowsing is a sense that can be developed by most people. Once dowsing skills are developed you are off into another world; a world that can take your breath away with what it reveals.

Some people are very sensitive to and respond readily to the energies, others have to practice before acquiring the skill.

The day’s prime objective is to develop fundamental dowsing responses using L rods and understand what they mean and tell you.

For the more technical and scientific minded responses and the energy that triggers them are explained based on a simple scientific model where the humans have a magnetic sensory system stimulated by a lesser known form magnetic energy Paramagnetism and Diamagnetism

This Paramagnetic and Diamagnetic Theory of dowsing underpins a powerful methodology to analyse and use these energies called Biolocation established since 1994.

The day also opens up the dowsing world to those with less technical and scientific interest.

Once dowsing using L rods a number of applications of dowsing are introduced. These include:

Water divining, locating underground streams rivers and even underground pipes and cables.
Beneath your feet you will find energies from roads buildings and culture that existed before the Romans arrived. You will learn how to see the past as it really was
Analysing the human aura
Investigating and managing the effect of earth and environmental energies on the body
Dowsing Energy fields from space.
Using dowsing as a means of communication

The day’s dowsing is a structured series of practical exercises.

Full course notes and materials are provided with tuition by experienced dowsers

Assington Mill is a 70 acre organic farm in a beautiful secluded hidden valley in Suffolk. We aim to provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, where you will enjoy the experience of spending time with like-minded people and learning something new and life-enriching. Around fifty-five different short courses in rural and traditional craft skills are run here each year.

We aim to provide healthy meals during our courses made from locally-sourced organic ingredients, where possible. Lunches usually consist of soup and salads. Almost all the ingredients, if they are not grown here, come from Assington Farmshop, and are organic if possible. Cakes and biscuits are also home-made. We specialise in gluten-free food and are happy to cater for any other dietary requirements if you give us notice on the booking form.

Accommodation is available at many BnBs in the area (please see the list on our website) or you could stay in Mill Cottage on site. Alternatively, Camping is also possible at Assington Mill for £5 per night, anywhere on the farm. There is a toilet and shower available in a wetroom; plus a kitchen with two hobs and urn. We are not a proper camp site; this is just a facility for people coming on the courses.
