Discover Plant Dyes and Felting - 2 Day - fully residential workshop

Description

Spend a weekend immersing yourself in the beautiful world of colour derived from plants and learning how to process fleece from its raw state off the sheep to a beautiful felted colour sampler.
The workshop will take place surrounded by beautiful woodland as well as harvesting colour from my abundant food, colour and medicine garden.
All meals will be provided and eaten together (apart from breakfast on Sunday which will be a help yourself affair) and will no doubt contain ingredients grown in the veg garden.
This will be a weekend of nurturing ourselves and our creativity, inside and out and creating a little crafting community for a weekend in the Worcestershire countryside.
I have been making and creating all my life but only recently have begun to understand the power and importance of the hand to connect our head and our hearts. By engaging the hands in creative work, we allow a feedback loop to be created between what we feel and what we think, allowing us to feel more aligned and at peace with ourselves through gently creating something from our imaginations (our head) but which also represents our heart too.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
