About the Course
Ever wanted to try your hand at Calligraphy? Why not come along to our small and friendly Saturday morning class where you'll be shown how to form beautiful letters using traditional dip pen and ink. We'll also try out some quills and bamboo pens with different inks and paints. So many lovely styles of lettering to learn and you don't need to have neat handwriting!
Aimed at Beginners but Improvers can benefit too. Children are welcome, recommended 10yrs+. A small class (max 7) means you'll enjoy close tuition. This is part of a series of Saturday morning classes, generally two per month, booked individually with no commitment beyond each workshop.
The venue is a well-lit and peaceful workroom within the Mistley Quay Workshops with a beautiful ever-changing view out over the River Stour.
Please note : Access to the building is via a staircase.
Unrestricted parking nearby. Nearest railway station is Mistley, 2-3 minutes walk away.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
