The Digital Pattern Cutting: Computer Aided Technology course is part of our newly established suite of courses for advanced fashion practitioners, aimed at enabling those with previous experience to evolve and to thrive in their creative work.
Digital Pattern Cutting tools are standard practice for work within the fashion industry, and pattern cutting through Computer Aided Technology can also provide valuable support for individual fashion professionals and entrepreneurs. Ideal for a range of specialisms, from bespoke designers to fashion innovators, applying knowledge of CAD technology to your pattern cutting and production work can improve accuracy and efficiency while reducing costs. This course has been designed to support those with an interest in improving their fashion digital literacy, overcoming the challenges in gaining access and guidance required to build experience in working with digital tools such as Gerber Technologies and Grafis.
This course will prepare you for a career change, enhance your portfolio to pursue postgraduate study, help you establish or expand your fashion business, or pursue an academic fashion career.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
