About the Course
This workshop is for people who are interested in developing products, over time, that are good enough to sell. This two day workshop aims to give you the tools you need to take your designs to a more professional level.
We will look at other designers, past and present, and analyse why their work is popular. We will study colour mixing and how to get exactly the colour you want, as well as how to define your market, and how to reach it, You will make lino blocks for printing on to fabric and paper, so that you can try out what you have learnt by printing on to paper and fabric. You will be given information about where to buy materials, inks for printing your own fabrics and how to get them digitally printed. We will look at marketing and sales outlets for your work. Most importantly, you will be given the encouragement and help at every stage to really develop your designs and ideas.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
