Taught by Do Creative Workshops and experienced certified Powertex tutors, in our dedicated studio.

Using a provided wide frame mirror, adding on structures and forms to give the shape you desire.
Once we have created the base shape, we will teach the basic principles of Powertex and using natural fabrics to add texture and design, Different types of fabrics will produce different textures which means even if individuals use the same basic products, each mirror will be a unique creation which can never be replicated.
A refreshment break is planned while the item dries off for half an hour.
Once the powertex is touch dry, you will be taught dry brush techniques and a range of options and coloured pigments to get the results you want.
There are no specific skills required in the workshops apart from a little manual dexterity. The workshops are suitable for all ages and abilities. Children are welcome from age 8 with adult supervision. We are happy for an adult and child to work together on a single project.
We take private bookings outside these times for family bubble social distancing events.
We stock a range or arts, crafts and Powertex products in our studio. as well as finished hand crafted items for sale.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
