* Teacup not supplied and the Teacups shown are for illustration purposes only.
Although similar to a Taster Kit, this particular Craft at Home, is different in that your teacup is converted into a candle. It is still for the individual, who just wants to try out candle making to see if it is something they would like to pursue further, possibly signing-up for an organised workshop.
In the comfort of your own home and, at a time convenient to you, this kit provides what is needed to convert your single Teacup into a natural, fragranced, soy candle.
This is an activity suitable for adults only and Step-by Step Instructions are included.
There is a choice of fragrances:
Aqua Blossom & Coral
Champagne & Roses
I will ask which fragrance you require when you order the kit.
Required Safety Information to be found in the Instructions or can be e-mailed on request.
Please see Craft Courses terms and conditions at the bottom of this page.
- Your choice of fragrance
- Packet of Soy Wax
- 1 x Wick + Glue Spot
- Instruction Sheet
- Postage included
- Unlimited free access to Online Video Tutorial
- A teacup with a diameter of between 8cm - 10cm and around 7cm in height - ask if unsure your teacup would be suitable.
- A Wick pin – for example, a cocktail stick; minimum 10cm long
- A small saucepan and a heat resistant Jug or Bain Mari
- Paper towels & Wet Wipes
- The use of a cooker / hob or Microwave
- A heat resistant surface
NOTE: using a suitable heat resistant cup is very important, not only will the wax be very hot when pouring but also when the candle is lit along with the flame; therefore, if the sides of your chosen teacup are too 'thin' it could shatter. Most teacups are designed to hold boiling water but for example, avoid thin bone china teacups.
