Crochet for Beginners - Three Part Sunday Social
Description
This sociable three-part workshop is spread over three Sundays so that you can have a little time to practice between classes and come back with any areas you are struggling with. You’ll learn the basic crochet stitches and get plenty of tips for achieving a good finish as you go along. You’ll have a go at making a couple of small projects during the workshop and you’ll learn how to follow a pattern. Kit included to take away (hook, yarn and basic patterns). Taught by tutor/maker Alex Peel. Level: For complete beginners but good for those who want to re-learn old skills, long forgotten, in good company.

All materials. Lunch not provided, many places to get food around the class location.

We specialise in haberdashery and needlecrafts, with an international reputation for stocking over 10,000+ different button designs. Our classes are held in a beautiful beamed room at the top of our medieval building in York. They are taught by practicing designers and makers with considerable expertise in (and passion for) their respective crafts, and considerable teaching experience.
