This course takes place at Ammonite Yarns, in Pontyclun, South Wales, several times a year.
What used to be a block 6-week course has now been split in two parts, bookable separately and taught independently. Each 3-week part costs £35.00/person, including refreshments. Yarns and hooks are provided for the first session only.
Initial 3-week course for beginners: covers the basic stitches and techniques, mostly working straight, getting to know how NOT to lose or gain stitches, and ends with how to make a granny square.
Follow-up/independent 3-week course for improvers: covers things like working in circles as well as more complex stitches and shapes.
The whole course also focuses on learning how to read charts. This should enable you to tackle a variety of simple projects on your own.
Numbers are limited in order to give each student the best tuition possible, so booking is essential!
What's included in the price?
I provide a variety of yarns and hooks for students to try out during the first session.
Refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits...) are provided by Ammonite Yarns.
