About the Course

Create your own sculpture out of stone in this 2-day workshop.

During the two-day course, you will learn how to sketch an idea and mark out a carving, and how to use the appropriate tools to create your own carving.

You will then be given a block of limestone, such as Bath Stone (a soft and manageable stone) to work on at your own speed. By Sunday afternoon, you will have finished a small stone carving to take home with you to decorate your house or garden!

Course Tutor: Patrick Barker - member of the Royal Society of Sculptors.
Location: Stable Yard Room at The Bishop's Palace

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
