Class format and activities
Through guided exercises and projects you will:
Develop themes from varied influences and sources. For example, from natural or man-made forms, architecture, texts, or a range of imagery and photographs.
Gather and record information through drawing, in both wet and dry materials, using slow and fast techniques. Discover possible resources and inspiration through occasional visits to public spaces.
Develop your ideas through experimentation with different materials.
Explore formats for presenting working processes in sketchbooks or with worksheets.
Regular group discussions facilitated by the tutor will encourage you to evaluate your own progress and that of your fellow students, sharing discoveries and learning from one another.
