About the Course
Come and enjoy a relaxed day out with Annie in the art studio playing with fabrics and paint! You can choose to make a book cover, a storage pot or simply a little picture, whatever you like!
Annie has been creating mixed media work with freehand or 'freemotion' embroidery for 20 years and loves to share this fascinating skill. You will need to bring your own machine and leads as it is better for you to learn on your own machine. As long as you can either lower the machines' feed dogs or have a plate cover, your machine will be suitable.
If you would prefer to hand stitch and not bring a sewing machine that is also fine! Annie will bring plenty of threads for hand embroidery embellishment.
You are welcome to bring any materials with you that you may like to play with but many materials and threads will be provided. Feel free to bring any imagery that inspires you or (if you have one), your sketchbook! Additional materials and haberdashery equipment will be available to purchase on the day. Places must be booked in advance via our website. Classes are kept small and friendly!
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
