About the Course

A one day individually tailored private 1-1 course in jewellery making - I work in many different materials and love mixing them together so can offer a wide range of options for both complete beginners and more advanced students.

Teaching from my studio in central London - close to Camden station, I have everything you need on hand to make your own gorgeous jewellery.

Whether you are completely new to jewellery making and fancy trying your hand or starting at a new hobby, fancy a fun day (or evening) out with a friend or two, or already create your own jewels and want to build on your existing skills, I can help you create unique, professionally finished jewellery.

You can choose from any of the techniques that I teach:
- Creating silver and gemstone jewellery
- Bead stringing and wirework
- Pearl knotting
- Kumihimo (Japanese braiding)
- Working with silver clay
- Wax carving
- Stitched beadwork
- Electroforming
- Etching
- Soapstone carving
- Simple casting

I offer one off, one day (or shorter) sessions as an introduction to, or skills boost on a specific topic or style of jewellery making, as well as offering blocks of sessions for those looking for longer term support.

I primarily teach 1-1 at my studio, but can accommodate up to 5 students (depending on the topic), so if you have friends, family or colleagues that would like to share a session this can also be great fun.

I have been making jewellery for over 20 years, have a degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing, and have been teaching jewellery making since 2009, when I completed my initial training for teaching adult education classes. I love making jewellery and sharing my skills with new people from all over the world; I have repeat students visiting from Italy, France, Egypt, Norway, as well as from all around London and the UK.

Get in touch anytime, and we can discuss what techniques you would like to work on and what style of jewellery you will create.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
