About the Course
Explore a range of media & techniques to develop your own unique creative style through the medium of fashion illustration. Understand the role of illustration in the fashion industry. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience.
On this course you will gain an insight into the wider role of fashion illustration. Fashion Illustration can be used to promote a product, illustrate a magazine feature or visually explain a design idea. It is by making drawings and experimenting with images on paper that fashion designer develops and give shape to their creative ideas. You will utilise traditional and experimental media & techniques to develop your own unique style. This course is aimed at both beginners and ‘improvers’; those who already have some drawing experience. It works well as a follow on to 'Introduction to Fashion Drawing' and links well with both the ‘Fashion Design’ and ‘Portfolio Preparation’ courses, providing an opportunity to develop your creative skills further, to produce creative fashion illustrations.

In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.
