Creative Craft Retreat

Fairy Composition

About the Course

Discover the calming benefits of creative activity with our all-day Craft Retreat.

De-stress and unwind in a safe and supportive atmosphere with a small group of like-minded crafters. Enjoy exploring different mediums and techniques, from watercolours and pastels to stamping and mixed media as well as exploring your inner world and thoughts.

Using a creative process can be used as a tool to express ourselves and our emotions which can improve our well-being. Using their experience of teaching and working with mental health charities and services, our tutors will facilitate, guide, and enable you to explore your creativity through art, mindfulness, and calming music.

We will start at 10 am and finish at 4 pm, with a lunch break half way through the day and as many snack breaks as you need. We will complete 3 to 4 different projects using a variety of art supplies and mixed media.

To give you an idea of what we will focus on, below is an example of the first project we will complete:

Project 1: The Zen Butterfly (inspired by Tamara Laporte) - this project is perfect for beginning of the year as we will explore what's holding us back and might stop us from moving forward. We will use stencils, ink sprays, simple drawing with black pen and coloured pens to create a colourful butterfly in a Zentangle style.

Some of the other areas we will explore with the art projects are our self-limiting beliefs, our dreams and goals and the acceptance of who we are.

Fee: £97 for the whole day (buffet lunch, snacks and unlimited tea and coffee are included).

If we are unable to run the retreat due to government restrictions, your booking will be transferred to an alternative date. You will receive a full refund for your booking if the event is cancelled by us.

Our retreat is suitable for all abilities.

If you will be redeeming a CraftCourses gift voucher on this course, the voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
