About the Course
Would you like to work with clay, Not sure where to start, need help to find and develop your inspiration? Then this is the course for you.
Geri and Sue have been successfully running their one day clay workshop for over two years, now they have developed this new course for those who would like to learn and make over a number of weeks. The course is aimed at beginners and will give even the most inexperienced the knowledge and skills to be successful. Geri and Sue believe that everyone can be creative and will sensitively guide students through the making processes.
Part 1: Takes students step by step through hand building techniques, covering a different skill each week including a 1:1 tutorial on the potter's wheel. Clay types and uses will also be covered as well as decoration and glazing.
Part 2: Is a totally unique opportunity to develop your inspiration with Geri and Sue sharing ideas and methods for gathering and developing ideas. Part 3 : Will see students start to develop their own projects under the skillful guidance of these highly experienced tutors. So whether you have worked creatively before, or you are totally new to artistic endeavours the tutors are confident that you will achieve your goals with this course.
