Plan out and build a beautiful, bespoke, dot grid bullet journal that will provide you with artistic and productive inspiration with local artist and printmaker Lou Davis.
By considering the basic idea of bullet journalling before setting up a journal for the year, we will ensure that you create a journal that will have pages to track the things that are important to you, and will provide year-long motivation.
We’ll share ideas on how to make your journal useful and beautiful, and each participant will create a personalised spiral bound dot grid journal, and will go away with a basic journalling kit of fine-liner pen, a brush marker pen and washi tape in their chosen colours.
We’ll be covering:
> Bullet journalling basics
> Creating spreads to motivate you throughout the year
> Setting up trackers for whatever you want to prioritise: exercise, health, reading, etc.
> Creating monthly and weekly pages
> Developing your own style
> Choosing monthly themes
> Creative lettering
> Decorating your journal
> Adding colour and highlights
> Fixing mistakes
We’ll be creating and personalising our own spiral bound journals, which allows us to practice on multiple pages and only include in the final journal those pages we are really happy with, and you’ll leave with a kit of essentials to keep you going after the workshop.
Refunds are not available on this booking. Start dates may be amended on request.
Spaces on our workshops are limited so that our artists and makers can offer you the hands-on help and support you need to make the most of your time with us.
All equipment is provided, and the materials you need to complete your project are included in the price of your workshop (unless stated otherwise).
Our buffet-style refreshment breaks are an important part of all The Arienas Collective workshops, courses and experiences. They are a time to socialise, make new friends and chat to the artists and makers. We are fortunate to have a fantastic range of independent shops and producers nearby, and feature locally sourced food and drinks wherever possible. A wide range of dietary requirements can be catered for.
PLEASE NOTE: Our workshop space is on the first-floor of a Georgian mews building and unfortunately we do not have lift access. Due to COVID-19, we have had to adapt the way we run our workshops and there may be some changes to the way it is delivered.
